Antoin Corbett
Antóin Corbett from Douglas, Cork joined the Music4Children team in September 2012. He is a BMus graduate from UCC and as of 2016 has a Professional Masters of Education. Antóin began his music studies in 2003 when he attended Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa’s prestigious Music, Management & Sound course. Having studied the music industry, engineering live sound, and the exciting science that is studio recording, Antóin knew he wanted a career in music.
Antóin is a guitarist and ukulele player extraordinaire. He founded Cork Ukulele Group ‘The Flukes’ and is an accomplished Bass guitarist, having gigged with prominent function bands such as ‘Starz’, ‘The 3Gs’, ‘Souled Out’, The James McGrath Band and ‘The Moviestars’. Antóin is also a proficient singer-songwriter. He majored in composition and performance at UCC with huge success in his 2013 recital ‘Major Tone and The Clones’ and 2014’s ‘Antóin’s Chord Bits’, a performance of his concept album of original songs.
